Meet The Founder

At first glance, you cannot help but notice that there is something magical about Mary. You don’t know exactly what it is at first – but after a minute or two of being in her presence, you feel a shift in the atmosphere. Her smile catches your attention while she quickly and unapologetically swoops in for the hug. And it is in that moment there is a great transfer…a soul-stirring, spirit-laden, transfer of genuine love, compassion and kindness.

Hi, I’m Dr. Mary L. Boyde, It’s nice to meet you!

Welcome to WALK WOMEN’S NETWORK…

I am thrilled you are here. I bet you we are a lot alike. I think this is what excited me the most!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself first. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C., the youngest of 4. I knew from a young age that I was different. Not different in the way most would think, but different in that I knew that I was not only destined to be great and destined to do something extraordinary…

What’s The Problem?

In the midst of walking my path… the journey towards greatness I would endure some wilderness times. My formative years would be met with losing my father at 5 years old and then dealing with a verbally and physically abusive home life. It was rough…

As a young adult, I often did not want to be “a part of the crowd” and always questioned the status quo…

Despite feeling like everything around me was against me, inside I kept feeling me thinking bigger and wanting better.  Something kept me believing in my dreams, believing all things were possible, believing I was enough.

My Heart beats…

My heartbeat is entered at its core around women. This is my reason for building Walk Woman’s Network.  Walk Women’s Network – is a growing community of women globally – I empower the WWN community to operate in their purpose and realize their God-given gifts.  I aim to reach women in not just one industry but in many.  As an author and public speaker, there isn’t much that I haven’t influenced with my heart to give.

My goal is to open a credit union called The Bank of Eden.  Through this institution, I plan to help families realize their dreams of homeownership which are generally unavailable in many marginalized communities.

I also plan to purchase land and create the world-class Boyde’s Campuses, an all-inclusive housing and education facility for young single mothers – I am positioning myself to inspire the next generation.

I believe every Black woman deserves to be treated like royalty.
